I have known Jonathan Klein for several years now and he has developed a friendly, effective obedience method that we completely approve of. His gentle manner and consistent training techniques are highly regarded in the veterinary community. 911 VETS Home Pet Medical, myself and many other veterinarians recommend him highly. Steve Weinberg, DVM Los Angeles, CA
As an Animal Lawyer I have worked with Jonathan Klein on numerous occasions. He is a highly qualified, competent, and knowledgeable trainer of dogs and knows how to correct inappropriate behavior. When working on problem cases with me, Jonathan has always been successful at diagnosing and correcting canine behavior and teaching the people who live with those dogs how to be more responsible at it. Just wanted to thank you again for all your kind assistance. If you haven’t heard this enough – let me say it again… You are very much appreciated and a wonderful human being. PS: your staff is super too!! Sylvia Ryan (Bean’s mom) Los Angeles, CA
We recently decided to take on a foster dog from one of the city pounds in order to keep him from being euthanized. I emailed Jonathan and heard back from him within hours. He thoroughly discussed our dog’s issues ….. and our dog learned so much that we were beyond amazed! Jonathan is also caring and compassionate and uses positive reinforcement to get the job done – and the job was VERY well done. I called around and spoke to a few trainers before choosing Jonathan, and felt the most comfortable with him. I would HIGHLY recommend him to anyone looking for some guidance (small or big issue) with their dog. Erica M., Client, West Hollywood, CA
I’ve known Jonathan over 10 years and find an opportunity to recommend him and the team at I Said Sit at least weekly. I was always impressed with his professionalism, compassion for his clients (both 2- and 4-legged) and his good business sense. As a behavior consultant ,…. over the years I’ve referred scores of folks to Jonathan through my affiliations with a number of rescues, including quite a few with significant behavior and training challenges, and the feedback I get from my referrals is always positive.
….. a commitment to the animals and our community that you’re not going to see anywhere else.
I don’t know of any other facility like this that “does it all” (boarding, training, daycare, behavior, etc) and manages to get it right almost every time. Barbara Davis, Certified Behaviorist, Corona, CA
We have an AAHA accredited, busy companion animal hospital serving the greater Los Angeles area. For nearly three decades Jonathan Klein has been our major go-to for referrals needing assistance in basic training, as well as, those dogs with more difficult behavioral issues. Jonathan provides excellent support and knows how to work with guardians, veterinarians and troubled pets. He really understands dogs.
His skill set is huge and his professionalism is without question. He understands that behavioral issues are often multifaceted and we approach these as a team. Clients seek us for a full professional examination and necessary diagnostics to properly evaluate the case and then see Jonathan for his perspective and training recommendations. I never cease to be amazed at his ability to observe and analyze difficult cases and make recommendations that people can follow.
While no one resolves all such cases, it’s been rather remarkable that in all these years I have never had a case that we had to use behavior drugs on when they worked along with Jonathan’s case strategy. The other thing that is so important with training is having a training partner who listens and understands how to communicate with veterinarians. I never have difficulty with Jonathan. It’s a pleasure to recommend him to my clients. Richard Palmquist, DVM Chief of Integrative Veterinary Health Services, Centinela Animal Hospital, Inc., Inglewood, CA 90302
